Baton Rouge is the 2nd largest city and the capital city of Louisiana, USA. The city is a major petrochemical, industrial and port center of the American South. Its port is the 9th largest in the United States in terms of weight. It has a humid-subtropical climate with hot and humid summers, mild winters and major rainfall all year.

The city also has an expanding visual arts scene fully centered downtown.
